DRiP closed $8M Seed round

DRiP, a Solana-based creator engagement platform, raised $8 million in a Seed funding round. The round was co-led by NFX, Coinbase Ventures, and Progression. Placeholder, 6th Man Ventures, and over 30 angel investors also participated in the financing.

DRiP enables creators to distribute their work, such as art, music, videos, and other multimedia content, directly to fans as digital collectibles on the Solana blockchain. The platform utilizes Solana's low transaction costs to facilitate micropayments and tips from subscribers to creators. With the new funding, DRiP plans to accelerate creator onboarding, launch a consumer-facing mobile app, expand the development of its creator tools and platform features, and boost marketing efforts.
