Illuma Labs secured $9 million in Series A funding. The round was led by LiveOak Ventures and included participation from Forefront Venture Partners, Curql Fund, UsNet, Capital Factory, Connexus, and TDECU.

Illuma Labs is a fintech company specializing in voice authentication technology for banking contact centers. The company's flagship product, Illuma Shield, provides real-time voice verification to replace traditional knowledge-based authentication, aiming to enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and prevent fraud. The funding will be used to accelerate the development of its voice verification solutions to address threats like fraud, voice cloning, and deep fakes, and to expand its reach to more credit unions and banks.
