Protege closed $10M Seed round

Protege, a New York-based company, secured $10 million in a Seed funding round. The round was led by CRV, with participation from SV Angel, Liquid 2 Ventures, Bloomberg Beta, Flex Capital, Adam D'Angelo, and Travis May. This funding announcement coincided with the launch of Protege's AI training data platform.

Protege's platform is designed to address the challenge of sharing and accessing AI training data by enabling compliant data exchange. The company, founded in 2024 by Bobby Samuels and Travis May, aims to streamline and secure the process of making proprietary data available to AI developers, focusing on data types that are particularly impactful for AI but have traditionally been restricted. By connecting data holders with AI developers, Protege intends to support the creation of AI solutions and help unlock the power of AI across various industries.
