Puraffinity closed $22.1M Series A round

Puraffinity raised $13.9 million in a Series A funding round. The round was co-led by BGF and Octopus Ventures, with participation from existing investors Kindred Capital, HG Ventures, and Universal Materials Incubator.

Puraffinity is a company developing advanced materials for water purification, specializing in the removal of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) from water. The company intends to use the new capital to scale up its manufacturing capabilities, expand its team, and accelerate the commercialization of its technology to address the global challenge of "forever chemical" contamination.
