StackGen, formerly known as appCD, secured $12.3 million in a Seed funding round. The round was led by Thomvest Ventures, with participation from existing investors FireBolt Ventures, WestWave Capital, and Secure Octane.
StackGen is a generative infrastructure from code company. The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development, enhance its go-to-market strategy, and fuel company growth. StackGen automatically generates Infrastructure from Code (IfC) based on application code, applying preset golden standards without requiring application source code changes. This approach aims to standardize and streamline cloud deployments, allowing developers to focus on business logic and application architecture rather than becoming infrastructure experts, ultimately improving productivity and security.
