Theater closed $1.5M funding round

Fashion startup Theater secured $1.5 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Prath Ventures. A number of undisclosed existing angel investors also participated in the round.

Founded in 2021 by Sarthak Aggarwal, Vikram Jain, Karan Jain, and Shruti Aggarwal, Theater is a Chandigarh-based fashion brand specializing in women's footwear, stockings, perfumes, and bags. The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its footprint in India's fashion market, expand into quick commerce, increase its offline presence, and improve its design and production processes. Theater aims to offer design-driven, mass-premium fashion products.
