ZipBio closed $4M Seed round

ZipBio raised $4 million in Seed funding. The round was led by NFX and included participation from MoreVC.

ZipBio is developing a generative AI platform for gene and protein compression. The company's COMPACT platform designs smaller, more potent therapeutic molecules to overcome size limitations in drug development, with applications in areas like ophthalmology, gene therapy, and oncology. The funding will be used to expand its team and advance its therapy pipeline, which includes a partnership with Genethon to develop a gene therapy for Glycogen Storage Disorder III Muscular Dystrophy.
